Griffin Mechanical Services was founded by Dennis Griffin, a lifelong tradesman whose career in HVAC began humbly as a plumber’s helper, helping clean drains, jackhammer sidewalks, and carry water heaters into attics and basements. Driven by a desire to learn the mechanical side of the trade, Dennis went on to graduate from Lincoln Technical Institute in Pennsauken, NJ, launching his path into residential HVAC service and installation in the late 1990s. While he gained experience in all facets of the industry, it was the challenge of diagnostics and troubleshooting that truly captured his interest. His skill quickly became indispensable, and he was soon transitioned into commercial service where his technical abilities could be fully utilized.

In 2003, Dennis joined UA Local 9 Plumbers and Pipefitters Service Division, where he completed his apprenticeship in 2006 and rose swiftly through the ranks—from service technician to lead technician, then field supervisor, service manager, and ultimately General Manager for one of New Jersey’s largest mechanical contractors. Throughout his career, Dennis built a reputation for technical expertise, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

After the COVID era brought unforeseen challenges and led to the closure of the entire construction division of the company he helped lead, Dennis responded by founding Griffin Mechanical Services in 2024. Today, he proudly continues to serve many of the same clients he has supported for more than 25 years. Built on lasting relationships, honesty, and deep mechanical knowledge, Griffin Mechanical Services remains dedicated to providing dependable, high-quality HVAC solutions for every customer.
